CanDrive Academy – Return & Refund Policy

Thank you for choosing CanDrive Academy. We are committed to providing high-quality driving lessons and a flexible, student-friendly experience. Please read our return and refund policy carefully before booking or purchasing through our website, candriveacademy.com.


1. Driving Lessons

  • Refunds:
    You may request a full refund for any booked driving lesson up to 24 hours (1 day) before the scheduled lesson time.
    Refund requests made less than 24 hours before the scheduled lesson are not eligible for a refund.

  • Rescheduling:
    Lessons may be rescheduled free of charge if requested at least 24 hours before the booked lesson time.
    If rescheduling is requested within 24 hours of the scheduled time, the lesson may be forfeited and no refund will be issued.

  • No-Shows:
    If you fail to attend your booked lesson without prior notice, the session will be marked as completed and no refund or reschedule will be provided.


2. Driving Lesson Packages

  • Lesson packages are refundable only if no lessons have been used and the refund request is made within 14 days of purchase.

  • Once any lesson in the package has been taken or booked, the package becomes non-refundable.

  • Individual lessons within a package can still be rescheduled under the same 24-hour policy described above.


3. Gift Cards

  • All gift card purchases are final and non-refundable.

  • Gift cards do not expire and can be used toward any eligible driving lessons or packages offered by CanDrive Academy.

  • Gift cards cannot be redeemed for cash 


4. How to Request a Refund or Reschedule

Please include your full name, order number or booking reference, and the date and time of the scheduled lesson.

Our team will review your request and respond within 2–3 business days. Approved refunds will be processed back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.


5. Late Arrivals

Students arriving more than 15 minutes late to a scheduled lesson may forfeit the session at the instructor’s discretion. In such cases, no refund or reschedule will be provided.


6. Cancellations by CanDrive Academy

In rare cases (for example, instructor illness, vehicle issues, or unsafe weather), CanDrive Academy reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a lesson. You will be offered either a rescheduled time or a full refund.


7. Australian Consumer Law

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods or services repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any rights you have under Australian law.
